This grave is at Ghaub's old mission graveyard. It is of the first child that Gerhard and Klara Kleinschmidt had. The boy was born in 1911 but died in 1913. He was named Gerhard also |

Mathilde, Heinrich, Gerhard and Helena Kleinschmidt, prior to WWI. Heinrich served in the German Schutztruppe, Mathilde was, in 1911, told by the Karibib Magistrate that she could not marry Mr. Ewaldt from Germany because she 'was not white enough'. Gerhard was my grandfather.
